MTV gave 100 of these crazy tiny digital camcorders to students just to see what would happen.

Ok. Not JUST to see what would happen, but to promote the hell out of these crazy tiny solid-state “FLIP” camcorders. Check out entries and compilations at whattheflip.mtv.com

This is my Milwaukee

by mshank on Dec.01, 2008, under Film News

Thisismymilwaukee.com showcases a single video produced with a Champion Dynasty Grant from the Milwaukee Tourism Commission. Check out the video:

Most of the video does not appear to be shot in Milwaukee. Besides this awesomely strange clip, the only other thing on the website is a counter, which appears to actually be a countdown to January 16th, 2009, and a couple links to the designers website. Which makes one a little suspicious… why would they not post links to the Actual Milwaukee Tourism Commission website? Well, google tells me there is no Milwaukee Tourism Commission… In fact the only sites which refer to that entity are linking back to this video. After further exploration, an anonymous wiki was found at pbwiki.com The users have been posting new findings about this strange video daily. Granted, the users are probably a marketing team on Madison Avenue, but its a fun little mystery to follow. We’ll see where it takes us, eh?
